The underground tunnels of a Cenote create wide corridors and caves. The numerous stalactites and limestone formations that adorn the ceilings make the diver believe to be in a cathedral...
It's amazing how easy it is to get so near to those majestic stalactites as long as 5 or 6 meters in the total absence of gravity!
The mineral substances contained in the soil have given , in the centuries, funny colors an shapes to the Cenote walls.
The picture above, even if not clearly visible, shows a curious
effect of the transit of the divers:
