The beauty and tranquillity of this places is incomparable.
Hyacinths ,lianas, small palms, flowers , fish and an incredible number of colored birds make the visitor feel biblical sensations.

Access to Cenotes is , today , generally free; in some places mexican farmers obtain a permit from the Government to surround the Cenote with fences and , in excange for the maintenance of the area, they can ask visitors to pay a toll.

It's due to the work of those farmers that the access is made easier with staircases and platforms.
